Boston, MA – According to the police officials, the 26-year-old man, later identified as Zacary, was arrested and later charged with murder, assault and other charges after he killed 25-year-old Briana. Police officials say the pregnant woman was murdered just one day after she called the authorities on the suspect’s sibling and hot him arrested on domestic violence charges.
According to the police officials, on Tuesday, the victim was rushed to the hospital with injuries following an argument with her boyfriend, 24-year-old Brandon. The man was then arrested and taken into custody. The woman returned home to the apartment she shared with her boyfriend and his sibling, 26-year-old Zacary. Authorities say the suspect left the apartment after he stabbed the pregnant woman to death.
The investigation process began on Wednesday, after the victim’s mom called to check on her daughter because she was not responding. The responding officers found the victim unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Per reports, the victim reportedly had stab wounds to the abdomen and neck. During an interview with investigators, the 26-year-old suspect reportedly said that he was at a nearby fast food restaurant, but authorities say that a surveillance video showed that he was at the apartment.
The man then said that he was at the apartment, but hasn’t seen the victim. In the surveillance video, the man was seen carrying a bag, which, according to authorities, contained clothing with red stains and knife that tested positive for bIood. The 26-year-old suspect is being held without bond.
