Jacksonville, FL – According to the police officials, the 45-year-old woman, later identified as Denize, was arrested and later charged with first-degree murder after she grabbed a gun and killed her estranged husband, 52-year-old Rohhan, following a heated argument in their family home while their both children were inside the residence. The fatal incident occurred on the last day of the previous month after the woman didn’t believe her husband was going out with frlends and thought he was going out to see other women.
The investigation process began after one of their children called 911 and told them that their mom shot their dad in the shoulder. The child, who was not identified due to his age, also told the dispatcher that the man was shot, but was still breathing. The responding officers gave loud commands outside the home to the people inside the residence to exit the home. Both children exited the home, but the woman was still inside.
Shortly after, they heard a gunshot noise before they saw the woman exit the home. The woman was quickly taken into custody, while the victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities discovered that the woman shot the man several times before they arrived on scene, then shot him for a final time when they arrived. During an interview with investigators, the woman reportedly said that her husband was cheating on her for the last several years and they slept in different rooms.
The woman, who told the responding officers that she had enough of her husband’s lies, reportedly shot the man after he unexpectedly announced that he was leaving to go see his frlends. The woman reportedly thought that he was going to see other women before she grabbed a gun and shot him several times. The woman then was thinking about killing herself before hearing her severely injured husband saying something to her. The woman then decided to shoot him instead.
