Charlotte, NORTH CAROLINA – According to the police officials, the 30-year-old parent, later identified as Tifany, was arrested and later charged with child abuse after she brought her son to the hospital with injuries on his arms, ankIes and neck. The child spent days in the hospital before he was released.
The investigation process began last month after the parent brought her child, who was not identified due to his age, to the hospital. The child was treated for his injuries before hospital staff called the authorities.
During an interview with investigation, the mother reportedly admitted to tying the 4-year-old child’s arms and legs together before she put him in a cIoset as a form of punshment ‘because the child would eat all of her food, drink whatever he wanted, and soiIed himself’. The parent even defended her decision to restrain her child because ‘she could do whatever she wants to her son’. The mother and the child were staying at a hotel when the alleged abuse occurred.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the child had new injuries and old injuries, that were in the healing process. The child spent days in the hospital before he was released. Witness, who wished to remain anonymous, reportedly told investigators that the child was scared to talk around his mom and started soiIing himself recently, even though he was poty-trained.
