Illinois – An Illinois man was arrested and charged with aggravated batery with a firearm after allegedly shooting his former girIfriend in an attempt to prove his Iove to his current girIfriend. The incident occurred in July around 1:30 a.m. Officers responded to a shooting call and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to both Iegs.
The defendant was charged last week in connection with the incident, in which his former girIfriend was injured.
