Houston, TX – According to the police officials, the 17-year-old boy, later identified as Christian, was arrested and is being charged as an adult after he shot to death the family member of a girl who told him that she was not interested in him. The fatal incident occurred earlier this year, but the shooter was formally charged this week. He is being held on $200,000 bond on the murder charge, court records say.
The investigation process began in August after officers responded to a shooting call. The responding officers found 37-year-old OsvaIdo suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the victim reportedly confronted ‘someone’ on the street right before he was shot to death.
Authorities also discovered that the shooter wanted to have a relationship with the victim’s 16-year-old stepdaghter. The unidentified girl reportedly rejected his advances by telling him she was not interested and even blocked the shooter’s number after he kept calling her.
The shooter also started staIking the girl after she rejected him. Shortly after she rejected the teen, the 17-year-old even started posting threats on his social media account. Authorities believe the shooter killed the victim because his family member rejected his advances. The shooter is being held on $200,000 bond and he will be tried as an adult, court records say.
