Houston, TX – According to the police officials, the 12-year-old girl, later identified as JoceIyn, reportedly left her home late at night only to be lured by 2 men under a bridge. Police officials said the two suspects, later identified as 22-year-old Johan and 26-year-old FrankIin, reportedly kept the child under the bridge for at least 2 hours. The teen victim was reportedly tied up, had her pants takken off before she was strangIed to death. The suspects then threw her body in the river.
According to the police officials, bystander reportedly found the girl’s body the following day. During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the girl was approached at store by the two suspects after she snuck out of her home. The girl’s friend reportedly told investigators that he was talking with the victim when he heard two men talking in the background. Police officials also said that the two men asked the victim for directions after encountering her.
The victim’s mom, AIexis, reportedly told investigators that ‘she had no idea’ why her young daughter left their home late at night. The victim’s mother also said her daughter sneaked outof their apartment late Sunday to walk to the nearby 7-11 store. Police officials said that surveillance video shows the two suspects following the teen girl into the store around midnight where she purchased a large drink. She was talking to a 13-year-old friend on the phone who heard voices of the two men.
Police say the men are in the United States illegally with pending court cases, and one of them entered just 23 days ago (SEE PHOTO). Both men were said to be construction workers, per reports. Police officials believe that the 12-year-old girl was lured by the two men. After luring the victim under the bridge, the suspects reportedly kept her for hours. The victim was then tied up and had her pants taken off before was strangled to death.
