Columbus, OHIO – According to the court documents, the 18-year-old girlfriend, later identified as KaitIyn, and her much older boyfriend, later identified as Jonathan, pleaded no contest to aggravated murder and were both sentenced to 25 years to life for their role in the death of 53-year-old NicoIe.
The young woman and her much older boyfriend reportedly killed the boyfriend’s mom NicoIe before wrapping her body and throwing it into a dumpster. Last year, Kaytlin ran away from her foster home and went to Jonathan’s home, but his mom wasn’t aware of that.
During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the young girlfriend was angry and frustrated because she thought Jonathan’s mom was interfering in their relationship. Shortly after, the then-teen gave her much older boyfriend ultimatum to kill his mom in several hours.
When she realized that her boyfriend wasn’t doing what she told him to, she grabbed a rock and hit his mom in the head several times before strangling the woman to death. After she killed the woman, the couple went to the local supermarket and bought cleaning items. Then they wrapped the victim’s body and threw it in a dumpster.
