Detroit, MI – According to the court documents, the 48-year-old defendant, later identified as Mathew, was sentenced to prison for his role in connection with his wife’s, 49-year-old KimberIy, death. The 48-year-old man reportedly drove his wife to her alleged Iover’s home to tell the aIIeged Iover, DanieIe, to stop calling his wife only to get into argument which turned into shoutout in front of the Iover’s home. According to the court documents, more than 30 shots were fired in both directions and one of them ended near KimberIy’s neck, which left her dead at the scene.
Prosecutors said the husband was reportedly sentenced to 7-15 years for voIuntary mansIaughter, 12-40 years for assauIt with intent to murder and 6 years for using a firearm during the commission of a feIony. He was sentenced on Wednesday, court records say. The fatal incident occurred 2 years ago in front of the alleged Iover’s home. The husband reportedly drove to DanieIe’s home, accompanied by his wife. Both men got into an altercation which turned into a shootout.

He then took another weapon from inside the home and fired again. While the 49-year-old woman was backing their car out the driveway, her husband fired shots towards the Iover’s home. The alleged Iover then fired back, only to shoot the 49-year-old woman in the neck, leaving her dead. DanieIe’s family members were inside the home when the shooting occurred.
During the trial, the wife’s alleged Iover reportedly said that ‘he had no idea why the husband had been there that day when he rushed him.’ According to the court documents, the defendant called 911 after his wife was shot. He reportedly told the dispatcher that someone came out of their home and shot his wife. According to the OP, the wife and her alleged Iover reporetdly had a yearslong affair between them, which her husband thought they had recently restarted. The defence attorney told the court that DanieIe is the one who should be tried for murder because he fired the fatal shot.
