Houston, TX – According to the police officials, the 27-year-old man, later identified as JaIin, was charged with murder after he shot and killed 25-year-old JaIen over the weekend. The man, who is not currently in custody, went to the woman’s home, who is reportedly his ex-girIfriend and the mother of his children, while she was having a blrthday party for their 6-year-old child. The young mother died after the man shot her in the head.
The fatal incident occurred right before 9 p.m. Sunday night. The 27-year-old shooter went to the victim’s home so he could give his 6-year-old child a present for her blrthday. The 25-year-old woman refused to let the man inside her house. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the woman’s new boyfriend opened the door and confronted the 27-year-old shooter.
Both men began arguing before the 27-year-old man started threatening her ex’s new boyfriend and telling him to come to the back and fight him. Shortly after, the 27-year-old shooter went back to his vehicle and grabbed his gun. At the same time, the victim’s boyfriend went to the kitchen to grab his own weapon because JaIin kept threatening him. Several moments later, the 27-year-old man began shooting at the victim’s home, striking the victim in the head, killing her.
The boyfriend fired back, but no one else was shot or injured. Shortly after the shooting, the 27-year-old man left the scene and is still on the run. Houston Police Lt. Willkens reportedly told local news outlets: “Hopefully, if he’s smart, he’ll turn himself in and come tell us exactly why he did what he did.” This incident remains under investigation.
