Houston, TX – The 23-year-old Texas man, EIvis, claims he now fears for his life after his former partner, 23-year-old AIexys, is now free on bond after she reportedly seriously injured the man by shooting him several times. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds following the attack and is now recovering. According to the victim’s family, the 23-year-old man has since undergone several surgeries, including one to remove a bullet from his chest the day his former partner was bailed out of jail.
The shooting occurred in September, while the defendant posted bond last week, court records say. The defendant’s initial bail was set at $75,000. But, just 2 months after her arrest, a Houston court lowered her bail to $10,000, which she paid and was released from jail. In September, the woman was arrested for shooting her boyfriend and later charged with aggravated assault. According to the 23-year-old victim, his former partner reportedly Iured him to a secluded area only for her to pull out a gun and shoot the man multiple times. The man was shot in both hands, stomach and chest. According to the victim, the former partner reportedly shot during a jealous fit of rage. The victim also stated that his former partner was ‘ jealous, controlling and would isolate him from family and friends.’
According to the 23-year-old victim, one day before his former partner shot him several times, one of his clients reportedly arrived at the residence he shared with his then-girlfriend. The 23-year-old woman reportedly became angry and tried to hit her then-boyfriend. During the confrontation, the man reportedly grabbed her hands and told her to calm down. The jealous woman then asked the victim why he touched the female client only to then change the subject. That day, the woman told her boyfriend to meet her at a secluded area tomorrow and enjoy the weather. The following day, the woman reportedly shot the man several times, leaving him seriously injured. Luckily, the man survived the nearly fatal attack. Now, the former partner’s release has led to the victim condemning the courts for allowing her to be released after the woman allegedly tried to kill him.
According to the victim, after his former partner shot him in the chest and stomach, she reportedly fired a shot directly at his head, but he was able to block it with both hands. While lying on the ground, seriously injured, the man reportedly told the woman that he loves her and convinced her to get him help. He then begged her to call an ambulance, as the woman allegedly fell into a state of shock, and profusely apologized for her actions, court records showed. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to do you like that, I didn’t shoot you in the right places!,’ she said, according to documents. The woman then was able to get the victim to a local gas station whey they called 911. The defendant’s bail conditions do not allow her to be near the victim or his family and she has to wear an ankle monitor.
