Jacksonville, FL – According to the police officials, the 25-year-old man, later identified as Oskar, was arrested and later charged with chiId abuse after he seriously injured his girIfriend’s child several months ago. The boyfriend was formally charged last week, court records say.
The investigation process began after the child complained to his mom about stomach pain. The woman then took her child to several hospitals, only for doctors to discover that her son had Iacerations on his Iiver. The doctors called the authorities after realizing that the injuries were consistent with physical trauma to the area.
During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the child’s mom left her son with her boyfriend several days before the child began complaining of stomach problems. One day, when the woman arrived home from work, the child was scared and wanted to leave with her when she went back to work. The woman also told authorities that she realized that her son had bruises on his body.
The woman also told investigators that her child complained that her boyfriend hit him in the stomach with a cIosed fist. The child told authorities that his mom’s partner stepped on his stomach with his foot. During an interview with investigators, the 25-year-old man reportedly said that the child def-cated on the fIoor and he had to discipIine him, but never admitted to hitting the child or stomping on him.
