Shreveport detectives seek woman accused of theft and identity fraud

Shreveport, LA – Shreveport Police White Collar Crimes detectives are searching for Shemekia Parker, who allegedly used the name “Sarita Houston” while committing theft and identity fraud.

Parker, a former property manager at Canaan Village, is accused of stealing tenants’ rent money orders and using a tenant’s personal information to apply for other apartments.

Her employer discovered she had used a false name to gain employment, leading to her termination.

Authorities are seeking Parker on charges of theft and identity theft. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.

Tips can be submitted anonymously, and a cash reward may be available.
