Minneapolis, MINNESOTA – According to the police officials, the 23-year-old brother, later identified as Jack, was taken into custody and later charged with 2 counts of second-degree murder after he reportedly killer his pregnant sister and her unborn baby. The 30-year-old victim, later identified as Bethanie, was 4 months pregnant when her sibling killed her.
The fatal incident occurred last week. Authorities began their investigation after Bethanie’s family called 911 and told the dispatcher that the 30-year-old woman didn’t return home after a dinner with her brother. Police officials released a statement, saying that Bethanie’s relative went to the place where the victim and her brother had dinner and reportedly saw the 23-year-old suspect leaving the place.
When the relative went inside the home, they reportedly found blood and called 911. The responding officers entered the home, where they reportedly found saw, knives covered in bIood and body parts, which authorities believe were victims’. Shortly after, someone called 911 and told the dispatcher that someone place a body part in their yard.
The responding officers found the 23-year-old man and took him into custody. During an initial interview with investigators, the younger brother reportedly said that he was angry that his sister was with child and was no longer innocent. He is being held on $2 million without conditions and $1 million with conditions bond.
