Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, the 27-year-old woman, later identified as Britani, was arrested and is now charged with murder after she killed her family member last week by shooting the 25-year-old woman, Breana, in the head. The fatal shooting occurred at the family’s home, while the victim was sleeping in the living room. The shooter then left the home, took a taxi to a local supermarket and then called the authorities, saying that she is her partner’s pregnant girIfreind and that she committed a crime.
The fatal shooting occurred on Thursday, police officials said. The investigation process began after authorities received a 911 call from a woman claiming to be the pregnant girIfriend of Britani’s husband’s. Officers responded to the victim’s residence and found the woman shot in the head. The 25-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police officials said.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the victim was sleeping in the living room when she was shot in the head. During an interview with investigators, the 27-year-old shooter reportedly said that she was sleeping next to the victim when she woke up and used her phone. The woman then left the home, leaving her sister alone, still alive.
Authorities later revealed that the woman was at the family’s home when her sister was shot to death. Authorities also confirmed that Britani made the 911 call from the local supermarket, claiming to be her husband’s pregnant girIfriend. Her next court appearance is scheduled later this month. According to the police officials, this is not the woman’s first run-in with the law. Over the last 7 years, she was arrested multiple times for theft, making false reports and other charges.
