The transgender girl, who de-transitioned from a boy, says she took puberty blockers and a surgery irreversibly damaged her body from the age of 13. The 17-year-old transgender, who had a double mastectomy and is at higher risk of certain types of cancer due to her invasive treatment, says she wants to raise awareness and has warned against letting children change gender. “No child should have to experience what I have. My consent was not informed. I was unknowingly physically cutting off my true self from my body, irreversibly and painfully. That realisation, actually, was one of the biggest things that led to me realising that this was not the path that I should have taken. Do not transition your kids.” the 17-year-old transgender girl reportedly said.

The transgender girl, Chloe, says her transition has damaged her body and she probably won’t be able to have children. She won’t be able to breastfeed if she can because she had a double mastectomy. Unfortunately, the teen said she is also at risk of certain types of cancer due to her invasive treatment, Daily Mail reports.

The 17-year-old transgender girl from California told a hearing of Medicaid officials: “No child should have to experience what I have. My consent was not informed. I was unknowingly physically cutting off my true self from my body, irreversibly and painfully. That realisation, actually, was one of the biggest things that led to me realising that this was not the path that I should have taken. Do not transition your kids.”

Chloe also said that therapists told her prior to transitioning she did not understand the ramifications. According to the 17-year-old transgender girl, she was medically transitioned’ between the ages of 13 and 16, having her mastectomys at 15 in June 2020. Chloe also said that she was taking testosterone and puberty-blockers and started going by the first name Leo.

The transgender girl also said testosterone altered her bone structure, permanently sharpening her jawline and broadening her shoulders. She said she also struggles with increased body and facial hair. Now, Chloe says one of her biggest concerns is her fertility. She doesn’t know whether the viability of her eggs was compromised by years of testosterone injections.

During an interview with the Post, Chloe reportedly said that it was her exposure to transgender activism on Instagram at age 11 that she pushed her toward transitioning.

She reportedly told NYP: “I started being exposed to a lot of content and activism. I saw how trans people online got an overwhelming amount of support, and the amount of praise they were getting really spoke to me because, at the time, I didn’t really have a lot of friends of my own.”

According to the 17-year-old transgender girl, she is still waiting to find out if her testosterone injections have left her infertile. According to Chloe, in May 2021, she reportedly stopped taking her testosterone injections. Now, Chloe says she doesn’t really believe in gender identity at all.

Her speech was in support of Rule 59F-1.050 that would restrict Medicaid funding for transgender treatments, FOX News reports. Chloe is one of a growing group of people called ‘detransitioners’, people who seek to reverse a gender transition, often after realizing they actually do identify with their biological s-x.
