Shreveport, LA – CPSO officials released a statement, saying that the woman had last been seen leaving her residence in Caddo Parish on Monday evening around 5 p.m.

Upon receiving information from the vehicle manufacturer overnight suggesting her car might be in the vicinity of the Red River Bridge in Coushatta, Caddo deputies initiated an investigation.

Red River deputies were promptly dispatched to the area and discovered the woman’s vehicle unoccupied and unlocked near the boat launch.

Responding swiftly, the Red River Sheriff’s Office coordinated a comprehensive search operation involving multiple agencies, including the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Red River Fire Protection District.

Their efforts paid off when personnel from the Red River Fire Department located the woman standing in a marshy area of the river approximately one mile south of the bridge.

Following her discovery, the woman was promptly transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Authorities have confirmed that no foul play is suspected in this incident.
