Shreveport, LA – Per reports, the Governor was accompanied by a distinguished delegation including Brigadier General Thomas Friloux, and a group of esteemed legislators including Senator Caleb Kleinpeter, Senator Stewart Cathey, Senator Franklin Foil, Senator Mike Reese, Rep. Chuck Owen, Rep. Jack McFarland, Rep. Raymond Crews, Rep. Mike Johnson, and Rep. Jay Galle.

During their visit, the delegation received a comprehensive overview of Operation Lone Star, gaining valuable insights into the ongoing efforts to secure the border. Additionally, they had the privilege of sharing lunch with Louisiana soldiers stationed in the region, expressing gratitude for their dedicated service and commitment to safeguarding our borders.

Furthermore, Governor Landry and the delegation had the opportunity to engage directly with Louisiana soldiers deployed on mission at Eagle Pass, further solidifying their understanding of the challenges and responsibilities inherent in border security operations.
