2 seriously injured after Gordon Avenue shooting, police say

Monroe, LA – Monroe Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 4:51 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

It happened in the 2600 block of Gordon Avenue.

Monroe Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found two adult male victim.

Police said both victims suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Both victims were listed in serious condition.

Their identities have not yet been released.
