Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation are once again teaming up to host a series of youth crime prevention presentations this summer

Shreveport, LA – Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with Caddo Parish Juvenile Services, the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Project Celebration, and the Kennedy Center, will reportedly host a series of youth crime prevention presentations this summer.

These presentations are designed for youth, teens, and parents, covering critical topics such as:

• Gun Violence
• Improving Police and Youth Interactions
• Social Media Safety
• Dating Violence
• Strategies to Prevent Juvenile Delinquency

All sessions are free of charge, and refreshments will be provided by the Caddo Parish Commission. This initiative aims to educate and engage the community in meaningful discussions to foster a safer environment for everyone.
