The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced an additional temporary lane closure on the US 90 Business Crescent City Connection Bridges as part of the $21 million CCC Decorative Lighting Project

Shreveport, LA – According to the state officials, starting July 23 and continuing through August 11, the HOV lane will be closed from Tuesday through Sunday, between 4 AM and 1 PM, to allow contractors to work on the far side bridge piers outside the protected barricaded area.

Important Details:
– The additional closures will not affect west bank-bound HOV traffic. The HOV lane will be available to west bank-bound traffic daily from 1 PM to 4 AM, as per the usual schedule.
– Four full lanes will remain open to east bank-bound traffic, 24 hours a day.
– DOTD anticipates that the 4 AM to 1 PM closure schedule should minimize additional backup issues.
– The HOV lane will be open to east bank-bound traffic on Mondays from 5 AM to 12 PM.
