Shreveport, LA – According to the officials, the enhancements reportedly include:
- Construction of a new ADA-compliant and separate men’s/women’s restroom facility.
- Construction of a new 20” x 70” metal pavilion cover, complete with a concrete foundation and tamper-resistant lighting.
- Installation of eight new ADA picnic tables.
The total cost of construction was $400,000.
P.B.S. Pinchback Park has quickly become a favorite in west Shreveport, thanks to its diverse array of outdoor amenities such as separated youth and adult basketball courts, covered shade structures over playground systems, four covered pavilions (large and small), turf mounds, and concrete cornhole boards scattered throughout the park grounds.
“We are excited about the ongoing capital improvements that are currently happening throughout our Caddo Parish park system. The improvements truly create a new park experience for our Caddo Parish citizens and visitors,” said Patrick Wesley, Director of Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department.
