Shreveport, LA – Over the weekend, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 9700 Block of Dayton Road in Mooringsport.
The incident involved an 83-year-old man, Billy Ashby, who reportedly fired a handgun at two individuals following an argument. Fortunately, no one was injured during the altercation.
Deputies located Ashby at his residence shortly after the incident and arrested him on two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
He was then transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the charges.
