Shreveport, LA – According to the statement, the SPD’s Property Crimes detectives made significant progress in their investigation of a string of residential burglaries in the South Highland neighborhood.
On September 6th, detectives executed multiple search warrants, resulting in the recovery of numerous stolen items, including four firearms, jewelry, and electronics.
These items were linked to ten residential burglaries in the area.
Two suspects were arrested as part of the investigation:
- Stormy Hackworth, 21, was charged with nine counts of illegal possession of stolen property.
- Lakordo Jamerson, 19, faced multiple charges, including eight counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances, possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), and a parole violation.
However, detectives are still searching for Dantanvis Jamerson, 33, who is wanted in connection with the burglaries. The Shreveport Police Department has requested the public’s help in locating him.
