Shreveport Police Department officers visit Eddie D. Jones Headstart Center on Halloween to bring festive cheer

Shreveport, LA – According to the police officials, on Halloween, SPD officers, led by Officer Phill, visited Eddie D. Jones Headstart Center to bring some festive cheer.

Dressed in costumes and equipped with bags of candy, the officers spread spooky fun as they handed out treats to young children, adding an extra layer of excitement to the holiday.

In addition to candy, the officers shared essential trick-or-treating safety tips. They advised children to stay in well-lit areas, walk in groups, and only accept treats from familiar faces, encouraging safe and fun Halloween celebrations. SPD’s focus on safety and community engagement was evident as they interacted with both children and staff.
