Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office welcomes 10 new deputies, invites applications for open positions

Shreveport, LA – According to the CPSO officials, Sheriff Whitehorn, Sr. swore in 10 new deputies, each joining the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office in various capacities.

The new deputies are assigned as follows:

– **Food Services**: Valerie Lane and Marvette Bright
– **Communications Officer 1**: Makayla Dooley
– **Re-Entry Center**: TraMarcus Harris
– **Patrol**: Francis Mogavero
– **Community Relations and Crime Prevention**: Malaysia Simon
– **Corrections**: Hunter Duckworth, Sumner Scott, and Collin Hughes
– **Internal Auditor**: Alexus James

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to seek qualified applicants aged 21 or older for several roles. Open positions include corrections deputies/security, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, building and groundskeepers, telecommunications officers, and part-time courthouse security.

Community members interested in joining the Sheriff’s Office are encouraged to apply and contribute to the mission of public safety and service in Caddo Parish.
