Shreveport Fire Department extended heartfelt thanks to the community this Thanksgiving for their support and generosity

Shreveport, LA – According to the officials, donations from Carter Credit Union, Brookshire’s on Norris Ferry, U-Haul, and anonymous contributors provided food items for fire stations, allowing firefighters to share a Thanksgiving meal while on duty and away from their families.

The department expressed appreciation for the continued backing of Shreveport residents, calling it a blessing to serve such a supportive community.

They emphasized the strong bond between firefighters and the public they protect, making the holiday season even more meaningful.
