Houston, TEXAS – Texas man, later identified as 29-year-old K. Fischer, is in custody after a fatal incident on Friday morning resulted in the deaths of his sister and her 2-year-old child. Police have identified the suspect as K. Fischer, who now faces two counts of first-degree murder. The victims, his 28-year-old sister and her toddler, were found with fatal injuries at their residence. Family members have openly criticized law enforcement, claiming that the tragedy could have been avoided if warnings about Fischer’s violent tendencies had been taken seriously.
Authorities reported that the investigation began after a family member contacted the police, stating that the woman and her child were being held hostage. Responding officers arrived to find both victims suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. Tragically, they were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Fischer was found asleep on the sofa with blood on his clothing. Upon being awakened by the officers, he reportedly attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended and taken into custody.
During interviews, Fischer’s mother revealed that she had reported her son’s violent behavior to law enforcement just a week before the killings. She alleged that her son had threatened to kill the entire family and expressed her frustration at the lack of action taken by authorities. “If they would have did what they were supposed to do, my family would be still up there, my grandbaby,” she told local reporters. She further attributed her son’s actions to drug use, claiming that his friends had given him “fake drugs,” which she believes exacerbated his violent tendencies.
“He came home on a rampage. I put him out. I’m his mom, I put him out. He threatened the whole family to kill” she reportedly said. The grieving mother also stated that Fischer had a history of violence against family members and had been recently released from jail. She recounted a previous incident where her son physically attacked her, expressing sorrow and anger that her warnings were not heeded. “His so-called friends got him on some fake weed. He came home on a rampage,” she said, describing his behavior leading up to the attack.
The woman reportedly called authorities on her son after he threatened to kill the whole family. The grieving woman now blames police inaction for the deaths. The woman also added that her son’s actions were caused by his drug use after his friends reportedly provided him ‘fake weed’. According to the parent, her son was recently released from prison and he already beat her. ‘His so-called friends got him on some fake weed He came home on a rampage,” the defendant’s mother told local news outlet KPRC. The 29-year-old defendant is being held on $200,000.
