Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony held at Alley Park in West Monroe

West Monroe, LA – A Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony was held Saturday afternoon at Alley Park in Downtown West Monroe to commemorate the attack on U.S. soil on December 7, 1941.

Yellow roses were placed at a marker as the names of those casualties from Louisiana were called out, followed by a bell tolling.

Thank you to the members of VFW Post 1809 Rodney J. Hobbs – Monroe, La for attending and their participation in the ceremony.
