Shreveport, LA – The Louisiana Department of Education has announced the opening of the session proposal window for the Teacher Leader Summit 2025. This annual event serves as a platform for educators, school leaders, and partners across the state to collaborate, share innovative practices, and advance teaching and learning.

The summit aims to empower Louisiana educators to develop strategies that promote excellence in education and foster student success. By submitting proposals, participants have the opportunity to shape the event’s professional learning sessions and contribute to the state’s educational future.

Proposals are encouraged to focus on innovative ideas, evidence-based strategies, and approaches that address the needs of students and schools across Louisiana. Educators, school leaders, and educational partners are invited to submit their best practices and ideas to enhance the summit’s agenda.

The deadline for proposal submissions is January 31, 2025. The Department encourages educators to seize this opportunity to share their expertise and participate in shaping the future of education in Louisiana.
