Louisiana – Governor Jeff Landry announced the appointment of a new chair for the Louisiana Board of Ethics.
“We are excited to announce the new chair of the Board of Ethics. We are confident in his leadership and look forward to his work to create much-needed change in this role,” Landry said.
The appointee, a native of St. James Parish, recently retired after serving three terms as the District 2 representative.
He is a graduate of Lutcher High School and Ascension Vocation Technical College.
His career includes serving as assistant fire chief for the St. James Volunteer Fire Department and holding memberships in the Lutcher Quarterback Club, Knights of Columbus, and Committed Adorer.
He also retired after 30 years at the Shell Chemical Plant in Geismar, Louisiana.
