Shreveport, LA – According to the police officials, the Target Asset Protection Team Lead reported the return of two suspects linked to multiple thefts at the same store in Shreveport. According to the report, a white male and a white female, previously seen stealing from the location about a year and a half ago, were recognized once again.
With the assistance of social media, Shreveport Police detectives identified the suspects as Moriah D. Valentino (born April 28, 1990) and Clinton E. Pickens (born May 23, 1979). Investigators revealed that since 2023, the pair had been involved in five separate theft incidents, totaling over $1,600 in stolen merchandise. Valentino was present for all five incidents, while Pickens participated in four.
Detectives also discovered that both suspects have at least two prior theft convictions. Due to their repeat offenses, arrest warrants were issued:
– Moriah D. Valentino faces five counts of felony theft as a habitual offender under Louisiana law (La. R.S. 14:67(4)(b)(i)).
– Clinton E. Pickens faces four counts of felony theft as a habitual offender under the same statute.
The Shreveport Police Department is urging anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts to come forward. Authorities reminded the public that while celebrations are common during Mardi Gras season, criminal activity will not be tolerated.
