Shreveport, LA – A check presentation ceremony was held at the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce to recognize a $10,000 donation to the Anglin/Meyers Initiative, a public safety effort focused on expanding surveillance infrastructure across Caddo Parish.

The Committee of 100, a civic group serving the Shreveport/Bossier area, made the contribution to support the strategic installation of cameras throughout the parish.

The initiative aims to enhance public safety and aid law enforcement in crime prevention and investigation.

Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr., Shreveport Police Chief Smith, Ms. Meyers, and members of the Anglin family were present to accept the donation on behalf of the initiative.

They expressed their appreciation to the Committee of 100 for their support and commitment to improving community safety.

The funding is expected to play a key role in the continued rollout of surveillance systems across the region.
