Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department announced that its Pastors on Patrol program is celebrating 25 years of service to officers and the community.
As part of the anniversary, two events have been scheduled in October. A breakfast with the chaplains will take place at Denny’s on Mansfield Road at 9 a.m. on October 2, 2025.
Media representatives are invited to attend for interviews. Later in the month, an anniversary service will be held at Lonestar Baptist Church, located at 5603 Ellison Street, at 6 p.m. on October 26, 2025.
The department expressed gratitude for the program’s quarter-century of prayer, guidance, and support, noting its role in strengthening connections between officers, faith leaders, and the broader community.
