Shreveport, LA – On October 1, 2025, Shreveport Police VCAT officers responded to a report from Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics deputies regarding armed subjects at 2929 Peach Street in the Cooper Road Plaza.

One suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended hiding behind a washing machine inside an apartment. Officers recovered two firearms and marijuana from the individual.

The following morning, October 2, SPD’s VCAT, Warrant’s Unit, and the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office executed two arrest warrants at a residence on the 1700 block of Irving Place.

Officers detained the fugitive along with another individual and seized a firearm in plain view and methamphetamines while clearing the residence.

Shreveport Police highlighted these arrests as examples of ongoing efforts to remove dangerous weapons and illegal drugs from the hands of violent offenders through coordinated operations with multiple law enforcement agencies.
