Shreveport, LA. – Shreveport Police Department reported that detectives, working with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana Probation & Parole, arrested Solly Thompkins (DOB 12/08/1961) in connection with an armed robbery on September 15 at a store on Centenary Blvd.
Police said Thompkins was armed with a knife and fled on foot with stolen cigarettes. Evidence recovered during a search warrant led to his arrest and booking at Shreveport City Jail.
The department thanked its partner agencies for their assistance in keeping the community safe.
