Man arrested for felony theft during organized retail operation in Shreveport

Shreveport, LA – Shreveport Police Department detectives arrested Gerald Odom during an organized retail theft operation involving several local retailers.

Odom was caught leaving T.J. Maxx with stolen merchandise.

Odom has a criminal history that includes 20 prior theft arrests and 18 convictions.

He was booked into Shreveport City Jail for Felony Theft (Habitual) and was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for Battery.

Police said the arrest highlights ongoing efforts by officers and local retailers to hold repeat offenders accountable and protect businesses in the community.
