Shreveport, LA – Two people were arrested following an assault that occurred on November 1, 2025, at 8001 Youree Drive in Shreveport.
According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers responded around 9 a.m. after a woman sought treatment at Willis-Knighton Pierremont Hospital and reported being attacked.
During the altercation, one suspect allegedly struck the victim multiple times with an iron, causing a severe head injury.
Detectives quickly identified and arrested the individuals involved. Dyaushaua Jones, 41, was charged with aggravated battery, and Roshunquel Jackson, 32, was charged with principal to aggravated battery.
Police Chief Wayne Smith commended the swift and thorough work of the patrol officers and detectives who handled the investigation.
