Louisiana – Governor Landry highlighted new filings from two Allstate subsidiaries showing significant auto insurance rate reductions, set to benefit more than 12,000 personal policyholders across Louisiana.
Allstate North American Insurance Company (ANAIC) filed for a nearly 8% rate decrease, impacting 10,746 policyholders.
Encompass Insurance Company of America’s National General program requested a 15% rate reduction, affecting 1,516 policyholders. Both changes are scheduled to take effect on December 8, 2025.
“Proud to see yet again that our insurance reforms are working,” Governor Landry said. “These rate reductions are proof that when we create a stronger, more stable insurance market, Louisianians benefit.
We will continue pushing for reforms that bring real relief and more competition to our state.”
