Shreveport Police Department thanks community members for holiday support

Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department recognized several community members and organizations for their generosity and support during the Christmas season.

Police officials expressed appreciation to the 911 Broadmoor Page, Kathleen Goodrich, and Carter Federal Bank for donating bags of snacks and treats for department personnel. The donations were distributed to patrol officers, dispatchers, jail staff, and vehicle technicians working through the holidays.

According to the department, the thoughtful contributions served as a morale boost for employees who continued serving the community during the Christmas season. Police leaders said the gesture highlighted the strong relationship between the department and the residents it serves.

The Shreveport Police Department thanked those involved for their kindness and support, noting that community involvement plays an important role in encouraging first responders and support staff throughout the year.
