Shreveport, LA – A single-vehicle crash early this morning in south Caddo Parish has resulted in the death of a driver, according to Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.
At approximately 2:36 a.m. on May 7, deputies responded to a report of an accident on LA Highway 3132 near the Dean Road overpass.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a westbound passenger vehicle had struck the bridge, leading to the driver being ejected from the vehicle.
The Shreveport Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced the driver dead.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released the name of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
