Shreveport, LA – Caddo Parish Patrol deputies are currently investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on the evening of December 11, as reported by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.
The tragic incident happened around 9:37 PM in the 5300 block of Shreveport/Blanchard Highway (LA Hwy 173).
According to deputies, a full-size pickup truck traveling southbound veered off the road and entered a ditch, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times before landing on a metal fence.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by Caddo Fire District 1.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Caddo Parish deputies.
