Doyline, LA – According to the Louisiana State Police, this unfortunate accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. Friday.
It happened on LA Highway 164, near LA Highway 163.
Louisiana State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash.
Ford pickup was traveling eastbound on LA Highway 164, when he crossed the centerline into the westbound lane and struck Chevrolet van.
The 55-year-old driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Norman Snow.
The 36-year-old driver of the Ford pickup, Travis Mooney, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
This incident is still under investigation.
