Monroe, LA – The Monroe Police Department announced that warrants have been obtained in connection to a recent act of vandalism at Hillcrest Cemetery on Adams Street.
Earlier today, the department received a report of individuals recording themselves destroying graves at the cemetery. Officers quickly responded and located the damaged gravesites.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Jaykob Marquez Bracey, 18, of Monroe, on a charge of felony desecration of a gravestone. Additionally, the Department of Juvenile Justice has been contacted regarding charges for a teenager allegedly involved in the incident.
