Shreveport, LA — The Shreveport Police Department recently hosted the Next Gen Career Fest, an event organized by the Community Oriented Policing Bureau aimed at bridging connections between law enforcement and youth. Over 50 children participated, engaging with officers to learn about police roles and procedures firsthand, from patrol duties to K9 demonstrations.
