Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department’s Community-Oriented Policing Bureau, in partnership with the Shreveport Police Union, is excited to announce the Second Annual Crush Endo Events.
This two-day initiative aims to raise awareness about endometriosis, fibroids, and other female reproductive health conditions.
The event, scheduled for March 14 and 15, 2025, will focus on educating the community and connecting individuals who are navigating these often-overlooked health issues.
On March 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the event will kick off at Valencia Park, located at 1800 Viking Drive. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a panel discussion that will feature personal stories of women sharing how endometriosis has impacted their lives. Dr. Leonard Weather Jr., a renowned professor and subject matter expert, will also be speaking to provide valuable insights into the condition.
In addition to the panel discussion, the event will feature connections to community resources that empower women to take charge of their reproductive health and well-being.
On March 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the event will continue at Columbia Park, located in the 600 Block of Columbia Street.
Participants will have the chance to join in a walk/run awareness event designed to show support for those affected by endometriosis and to help spread awareness throughout the community.
The Shreveport Police Department invites everyone to join in breaking the silence surrounding these critical health issues, showing support, and spreading awareness about endometriosis, fibroids, and female reproductive health.
