The Bastrop Police Department has new temporary operational hours

Bastrop, LA – According to the statement, the Bastrop Police Department will operate between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

Any complaints after 6 p.m. will be handled by the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-281-4141, officials said.

For emergencies dial 911.

It remains unclear why the change was made.
