The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office welcomed a new deputy and seeks to fill multiple positions

Shreveport, LA – According to the CPSO officials, Sheriff Whitehorn, Sr. swore in Deputy Brown at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Brown will assume the role of School Resource Officer at Huntington High School on September 3.

Before joining the sheriff’s office, Brown worked as a Behavior Interventionist at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

He also brings 28 years of experience from the Louisiana State Police, having served in multiple capacities including Patrol, Task Force, Bureau of Investigations, and as a Detective from 1995 to 2019.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office continues its efforts to recruit new personnel.

Applicants aged 21 and older are encouraged to apply for various positions including corrections deputies, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, building and groundskeepers, telecommunications officers, and part-time courthouse security.
