Shreveport, LA – Sgt. James Norwood of the Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol Division reported that deputies responded at 10:11 a.m. to a head-on collision involving an 18-wheeler and a green Camaro.
Upon arrival at 10:14 a.m., deputies discovered that the driver of the Camaro had been ejected from the vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was transported to Ochsner Medical Center by North Caddo Ambulance.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
As a result of the accident, Mira Myrtis Road is currently closed from Highway 1 to Hosston Rodessa Road North.
