The Department of Water and Sewerage has lifted the boil advisory in West Shreveport

Shreveport, LA – According to the officials, samples collected and analyzed showed no presence of coliform bacteriological contamination.

Following these results, an official from the Louisiana Department of Health approved the rescission of the boil advisory.

The voluntary boil advisory had impacted the following areas:
– 5000 block of Centre Drive
– 5725 Financial Plaza
– 5485 Financial Plaza
– 5454 Financial Plaza
– 5500 block of Buncombe Rd.
– 5606 Buncombe Rd.
– 5610 Buncombe Rd.
– 5300-5400 block of Free Enterprise Drive

Customers in these areas may now resume normal use of their water supplied by the City of Shreveport.
