Shreveport, LA – According to the LaDOTD officials, motorists will encounter lane closures at times to allow crews to finalize work outside of the roadway.

Starting on Monday, August 5, 2024, work will begin at Location 2 for the $4 million La. 321 bridge replacement project in St. Martin Parish. Location 2 of La. 321, located 1.1 miles south of La. 351, will be closed to the public.

This closure is expected to remain in place until late fall 2024. Construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

For this project, road closures will be limited to one bridge site at a time and will be continuous from one location to the next. A detour route will be posted for each road closure location.

Notification for the road closures at Location 1 will be sent at a later date.

The overall project is estimated to be completed in spring 2025.
